Break the spirit of Procrastination

Have you ever been so passionate about something? So anxious to get started on it and the ideas keep flowing and flowing? You feel great about it. Its something you love and can't wait to share it with the world. You go to bed thinking about it. You wake up the next morning and say "I will wait till Monday to get started.", That way I will have a fresh start at the beginning of the week." You go throughout the week with your daily routine. Wednesday pass, Friday comes and go, the weekend of relaxation and then Monday is here. You wake up Monday morning and say "Next month I will get started". "I have too much going on with work." "Next month I will get on top of it." The next month gets here only for you to push it off again. "I really need money to get started." "I need to wait until I have the financial backing I need." Those thoughts that are hindering you from getting started could be a negative spirit called procrastination. I challenge you to break that spirit of procrastination by asking God to keep you focused in the name of Christ Jesus. The enemy will place all types of thoughts in your head to stop you from going after your purpose, your passion, that goal in life. Pray everyday before you get started, Ask God to set the pathway and to lead you as you follow. Ask God to remove the negativity, to strengthen you for this journey in the name of Christ Jesus. Then move like its already done.

Ty Burnz - Distant Love

"Distant Love"

As we live life we meet many different people with many different personalities. In some cases we get more attached to an individual that we share things in common with, attracted to or have developed some type of feelings for. Going into a relationship rather its a friendship, intimate relationship or a business relationship it is normal to develop some type of feelings. In some cases, the feelings may be stronger on one side than the other. You may go into the relationship with all good intentions. To love, respect and to grow. You may go in the relationship sharing openly and transparent in hopes you get the same in return. Unfortunately, some of us have a damaged past. A past that has taught selfishness. A past that has taught to look to receive but not to give. A past to expect to be loved, but not love. A past that give a sense of entitlement and never a sense of love. When a person meets and develop feelings for someone with that damaged past it develops a relationship like oil and water, that don't mix. When that pain from that past is released there is know future for a healthy relationship until its healed. Its like a plague the enemy use to spread and destroy. A plague to develop a chain and infect generations. You could love that person, do anything you can for that person, but their damaged past will not let them appreciate your intentions. Instead of them showing gratitude, they will show selfishness.

Its is important that we understand that through the painful words and hurtful actions from people with a damaged past, that we are not battling with the flesh and blood. The enemy works to corrupt and destroy. He burn through generations to get to one soul. This is why we MUST develop a relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the only way to God. The Word of God informs us in Ephesians 6:12 KJV "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Knowing this allows you to still love despite of how much it hurts, but loving them from a distance. You can love someone without being around them everyday. You can love them by praying for them asking God to heal them. Sometimes distant love is the best love to give someone with a damage, unhealthy negative past that they have not healed from. Sometimes loving them up close will cause the pain they live with to become the pain you live with.

Ty Burnz - The Holding Pattern

When a commercial flight starts to arrive at its destination the pilot radios to the tower to inform them of their arrival. The attendants in the airports tower then radios to the pilots in the aircraft the permission to land. In some cases the airport tower may not give immediate permission for the aircraft to land. This reason could be for airspace saturation or approach delays. It also gives the pilot time for completion of abnormal or emergency checklist procedures or at any other time that a delay in flight progress is required. This procedure is called a "Holding Pattern". A Holding Pattern is the usually oval course flown by an aircraft awaiting further clearance; especially to land

We often ask God to move in our lives and when we do not hear or feel it immediately we automatically feel like God is not answering or hearing your prayers. God knows us better than we know ourselves because he is our creator. Sometimes God may place us in a holding pattern until we are ready to received our blessings. He prepares us in whatever way he sees fit. I challenge you to keep your Faith in God even in the darkest hour of your life. Through Jesus Christ trust that Father God knows whats best for you. As human beings we try our best to rationalize every situation in our lives and when it does not make sense to us we question it. Proverbs 3:5 KJV "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." These instructions are in the Word of God for a reason. Because there will be times that you will be tempted to use your own understanding in what God is doing or moving in your life. When you feel like you are in that holding pattern just be still & pray. Ask God to guide you on the path and direct you to that safe landing into your blessings. Trust God.
